The invention relates to a lidar device (10a-c), comprising a lidar unit (12a-c), at least one window element (16a-c) covering the lidar unit (12a-c), and a cleaning unit (14a-c), which is designed to clean the window element (16a-c). According to the invention, the cleaning unit (14a-c) has at least one wiper unit (18a-c) for cleaning the window element (16a-c) and a drive unit (20a-c) having at least one threaded drive (22a-c) for driving the wiper unit (18a-c).
