A vehicle (100; 100A) includes a power storage device (110), a charging device configured to be supplied with electric power from a power supply unit and to charge the power storage device (110), and an electronic control unit (150) configured to detect information on a maximum output power of the power supply unit. The electronic control unit (150) is configured to execute a predetermined process associated with charging based on the maximum output power of the power supply unit which is indicated by the detected information.
