Ein System (10) zum Be- und Entladen eines Gegenstandes auf ein Fahrzeug (12), umfassend:ein Ladesystem (24), das so konfiguriert ist, dass es ein Schließfach (14) aufnimmt, das zur Aufbewahrung des Gegenstands konfiguriert ist;ein Shuttle-Transfersystem (28), das so konfiguriert ist, dass es das Schließfach (14) in eine Lagerposition innerhalb des Fahrzeugs (12) überführt; undein Schwenkarmsystem (26), das mit dem Ladesystem (24) und dem Shuttle-Transfersystem (28) gekoppelt ist, wobei das Schwenkarmsystem (26) so konfiguriert ist, dass es eine Position des Ladesystems (24) relativ zum Fahrzeug (12) einstellt;wobei das Ladesystem (24) ein Schließsystem (36) umfasst, das so konfiguriert ist, dass es das Schließfach (14) an dem Ladesystem (24) verriegelt.

Methods and systems are provided for loading and unloading an item onto a vehicle. In one embodiment, a system includes: a loading system configured to receive a locker configured to store the item; a shuttle transfer system configured to transfer the locker to a storage position within the vehicle; and a swing arm system that couples to the loading system and the shuttle transfer system, the swing arm system configured to adjust a position of the loading system relative to the vehicle.
