The invention provides an electric drive system and a vehicle, and relates to the technical field of electric drive. The electric drive system comprises a shell, a motor assembly and a speed reducer assembly. The shell is provided with a containing cavity, and the motor assembly and the speed reducer assembly are both arranged in the containing cavity. The motor assembly comprises a motor body and an input shaft, the speed reducer assembly comprises a first driven gear, the first end of the input shaft is rotationally connected with the shell, the second end of the input shaft is connected with a gear part, and the gear part and the input shaft are coaxially arranged; and the gear part is externally engaged with the first driven gear, so that the occupied space during layout of internal parts of the electric drive system is reduced, the overall weight of the electric drive system is reduced, and the lightweight design of a vehicle can be realized when the electric drive system is applied to the vehicle.

本申请提供一种电驱系统及车辆，涉及电驱动技术领域。电驱系统包括壳体、电机组件和减速器组件；壳体具有容纳腔，电机组件和减速器组件均设置于容纳腔中。电机组件包括电机主体和输入轴，减速器组件包括第一从动齿轮，输入轴的第一端与壳体转动连接，输入轴的第二端连接有齿轮部，齿轮部与输入轴同轴设置；齿轮部与第一从动齿轮外啮合，减少了电驱系统内部零件布局时的空间占用，降低了电驱系统整体的重量，进而在应用至车辆上时，可以实现车辆的轻量化设计。
