When a bulk cargo ship water gauge is weighed, six radar measuring points are arranged on a prow starboard, a prow port, a midship starboard, a midship port, a stern starboard and a stern port respectively, data are measured at the same time, and therefore errors caused by surges and the like in successive measurement are eliminated; meanwhile, when the cargo ship draft is calculated, intelligent selection and processing of the data are further achieved by analyzing eleven groups of data, the accuracy of the data participating in draft calculation is further improved, and then the accuracy of water gauge weighing is improved.
