本发明涉及水域治污技术领域，具体是一种河道污染治理装置及其治理方法，包括具有封闭式舱体的船体，船体上安装有用于驱使船体前进的推动机构，船体一侧固定有水位传感器，船体底部固定有集污仓，集污仓两侧均设有开口供水流通过，集污仓的开口方向与船体的行进方向一致，集污仓靠近船体前进方向一侧固定有并连通有收集仓，收集仓远离集污仓的一侧同样设置有开口；本发明通过对水流动能的充分利用，能够对河流上的漂浮污染物和污水同时进行处理，提高了综合污物的治理效率，针对河流的点位污染起到很好的治理效果，且整个清理过程只需推动船体前进即可，大大降低了河道污染治理装置的耗能，达到节能治污的目的。
