The light-weight air cylinder comprises a cylinder body part, a support and a pipeline connector, the cylinder body part comprises a left cylinder body and a right cylinder body, the left cylinder body and the right cylinder body are both made of fiber-based composite materials, and the left cylinder body and the right cylinder body are connected in a friction welding mode; the bracket is made of a fiber-based composite material and is adhered to the middle part of the cylinder body part; and the pipeline joint is adhered to the inner cavity of the barrel part. 本发明涉及一种轻量化储气筒，包括筒体件、支架及管道接头，筒体件包括左筒体及右筒体，左筒体及右筒体均由纤维基复合材料制成，左筒体与右筒体摩擦焊连接；支架由纤维基复合材料制成，并粘接于筒体件中部；管道接头粘接于筒体件内腔。本发明的有益效果在于：筒体件及支架均采用尼龙玻纤复合材料制成，降低了整体重量，也降低了采购成本和零部件实物成本；同时，由于采用尼龙玻纤复合材料，使筒体件之间及支架采用粘接的方式连接，增加了制造效率。
