本发明提供一种区域控制器的设备冗余同步切系方法及系统，方法包括：在确定区域控制器主系的状态为停输出，且区域控制器备系的状态为正常输出的情况下，确定所述区域控制器主系是否连续预设个周期均未接收到第一数据，所述第一数据是由与所述区域控制器主系连接的第一设备发送的；若是，则将所述区域控制器主系降级为备系，并将所述区域控制器备系升级为主系。所述系统执行所述方法。本发明可以通过通信状况提前预测，在通信中断之前，让ZC主系主动切系，可以避免通信完全中断导致的列车降级，提前预判主动切系，也最大限度降低了ZC单系通信故障对列车运营的影响，不引入安全风险，保障线路安全运营。
