The invention provides a heat pump auxiliary system and a control method thereof.The heat pump auxiliary system comprises a four-way valve, an LTR, a battery, a water pump and a heating water tank which are connected through a pipe system, a port A of the four-way valve is connected with a port B of the water pump, a port B of the four-way valve is connected with a port B of the battery, a port C of the four-way valve is connected with a port B of the heating water tank, and a port D of the four-way valve is connected with a port of the LTRB; the battery A port is connected with the LTRA port; the four-way valve is used for distributing the cooling liquid flow proportion among the heating water tank, the battery and the LTR. The control stability under the low-load working condition is improved, the cost of the control stability is reduced, and the user experience is improved.
