本发明公开一种针对乡村T型无信号交叉口的车辆安全引导系统及方法，属于交通引导领域，所述引导系统包括控制模块、视频检测模块、雷达测距测速模块和VMS速度引导显示牌等，利用视频检测模块检测进入交叉口的车辆和行人，利用雷达测距测速模块获得主路和次路车辆到交叉口的距离和速度，确定能使主路车辆安全通过交叉口的合适引导策略，系统在VMS速度引导显示牌上显示引导速度信息，并根据主路车辆的数量设计多车引导策略。本方案通过对进入交叉口的主路和次路车辆识别，将得到的数据在进行分析计算，根据不同情况对主路车辆给出匀速通过、加速通过、减速让行或者停车让行等不同引导策略，使其可以安全、高效的通过交叉口。
