The invention discloses a gear driving device for an elevator. The gear driving device comprises a motor, a gear assembly, a gear box and a traction wheel. The gear box is used for supporting the rotation of each transmission gear forming the gear assembly; the motor drives the traction wheel to rotate through the gear assembly. Transmission gears forming the gear assembly comprise an input transmission gear, an output transmission gear, a first intermediate transmission gear and a second intermediate transmission gear; the axis of each transmission gear is static relative to the axis of the traction wheel and is parallel to the axis of the traction wheel; the first intermediate transmission gear and the second intermediate transmission gear are coaxially connected and rotate integrally; the axis of the input transmission gear, the axis of the output transmission gear, the axis of the first intermediate transmission gear and the axis of the second intermediate transmission gear are not located on the same plane and are in three-dimensional distribution in space. Large torque can be output through the miniaturized gear driving device, and the requirements of elevator application occasions with large load capacity and high-speed operation are met.

本发明公开了一种电梯用齿轮驱动装置，其包括电机、齿轮组件、齿轮箱、牵引轮；齿轮箱对组成齿轮组件的各个传动齿轮的旋转进行支撑；电机通过齿轮组件驱动牵引轮进行旋转运动；组成齿轮组件的传动齿轮包括输入传动齿轮、输出传动齿轮、第一中间传动齿轮、第二中间传动齿轮；各个传动齿轮的轴线相对牵引轮的轴线均是静止的且与牵引轮的轴线相互平行；第一中间传动齿轮与第二中间传动齿轮同轴连接一体旋转；输入传动齿轮的轴线、输出传动齿轮的轴线、第一中间传动齿轮和第二中间传动齿轮的轴线不在同一平面上，在空间上呈立体分布。本发明可实现通过小型化的齿轮驱动装置输出较大的转矩，满足提升大载重量、高速度运行的电梯应用场合的需要。
