The vehicle exterior member includes: a main body portion; a heating wire; a socket integrally formed in the main body; and a connecting pin, a part of which is embedded in the socket. The heating wire extends into the socket and is engaged with the connecting pin. A power plug can be inserted into the socket. The vehicle exterior member is configured so as to energize the heater wire via the power plug and the connection pin. The socket has a thinned portion.

车辆外装件具有：主体部；加热线；插口，其一体形成于主体部；以及连接销，其一部分埋设于该插口。加热线延伸至插口的内部而与连接销接合。能够将电源插头插入于插口。车辆外装件构成为，经由电源插头以及连接销而进行针对加热线的通电。插口具有减薄部。
