According to the underwater self-balancing capturing robot, a capturing manipulator is arranged on an assembly box, the assembly box is arranged on a self-balancing walking mechanism, and a visual perception sensor is arranged on the outer side of a rotating table of the self-balancing walking mechanism. The robot is compact in structure, high in overall rigidity, high in bearing capacity and capable of autonomously adapting to variable ground environment operation.
