The invention relates to a gantry crane tire automatic inflation method and system, a storage medium and an intelligent terminal, and relates to the field of tire inflation. The method comprises the steps that current air pressure detection information and current number information are obtained; determining classification information corresponding to the number information according to a classification database; if the air pressure value corresponding to the pressure detection information is not smaller than the air pressure value corresponding to the reference air pressure information, the tire air is sufficient, and detection is completed; if the air pressure value corresponding to the pressure detection information is smaller than the air pressure value corresponding to the reference air pressure information, the air pressure detection information is arranged in an inverted order, and a preset air pump is controlled to inflate at a preset reference flow rate value according to the air pressure values corresponding to the pressure detection information from small to large in sequence; and air inflation is stopped after the air pressure value corresponding to the reference air pressure information is reached. The gantry crane tire pressure detection device has the effects of improving tire pressure detection, reducing maintenance of tires on a gantry crane and improving the overall transportation efficiency.
