Vehicle glazing (10) comprising a first pane (1) and a second pane (2), which are joined to one another by means of a locally colored thermoplastic intermediate layer (3), a metal-based functional layer (5), which is deposited on an inner surface (II) of the first pane (1) facing the thermoplastic intermediate layer (3), an uncoated edge region (4) on the inner surface (II) of the first pane (1), the thermoplastic intermediate layer (3) is free of a metal-based functional layer (5) and extends from a side edge (K) of the first pane (1) on the inner surface (II) by at least 5 mm to at most 25 mm, the thermoplastic intermediate layer (3) comprising a transparent region (8) and a colored region (6), the colored region (6) being arranged at least in the entire uncoated edge region (4).
