本发明提供一种列车移动授权冲突防护方法及系统，方法包括：获取第一列车在第一移动授权范围内占用的第一区段；获取第二列车的第二移动授权，所述第二列车为与所述第一列车运行方向相反的列车，所述第二移动授权不能延伸到所述第一区段。所述系统执行所述方法。本发明解决了现有技术中基于传统的进路锁闭的移动授权冲突防护方式对列车移动授权冲突进行防护的适用性差的问题，通过第一列车移动授权占用的区段，对与该第一列车反向运行的第二列车进行移动授权的计算，并通过确保第二列车的移动授权不能延伸到第一列车移动授权占用的区段，实现对移动授权冲突进行防护，适用性高。
