The invention discloses an energy feedback charging control system and method for a power battery of a railway engineering vehicle, and the method comprises the following steps: S101), calculating the energy P load consumed by an auxiliary load when the railway engineering vehicle is in an electric braking working condition and operates normally; s102) judging whether the residual energy of the intermediate direct current loop is positive or not according to the P load, the wheel cycle braking energy P wheel cycle and the discharge current of the charge and discharge unit, if so, executing the step S103), and if not, skipping to the step S101) to execute; s103) calculating an allowable charging current value I1 of the electric braking energy; s104) calculating a charging current target value Itarget = min (I1, Itarget) according to the I1 in combination with a power battery allowable charging current value Itarget; and S105) controlling the charging and discharging unit to charge the power battery according to the target I. The technical problems that an existing power battery charging control mode is low in energy utilization rate, complex in system structure and high in cost can be solved.
