The invention provides a road flow real-time management and control method, which comprises a management and control system, a PGIS system and a signal lamp system, and is characterized in that the management and control system comprises an information acquisition module, an information monitoring module, an information comparison module, an information analysis module, a data storage module and a system access module; the management and control system is respectively connected with the PGIS system and the signal lamp system through the system access module, and the information acquisition module adopts an acquisition mode of combining a high-resolution camera and speed measurement equipment. According to the road flow real-time management and control method, field images in a monitored area are transmitted back to a command center through a system, so that managers can directly master traffic conditions such as vehicle queuing, jam and signal lamps and timely adjust timing of the signal lamps or conduct traffic dispersion and change traffic flow distribution through other means, and the purpose of relieving traffic jam is achieved.

本发明提供了一种公路流量实时管控方法，包括管控系统、PGIS系统、信号灯系统，所述管控系统包括信息采集模块、信息监控模块、信息对比模块、信息分析模块、数据存储模块和系统接入模块，所述管控系统通过系统接入模块分别与PGIS系统、信号灯系统连接，所述信息采集模块采用高分辨率摄像机和测速设备相结合的采集模式。该公路流量实时管控方法通过系统将监视区域内的现场图像传回指挥中心，使管理人员直接掌握车辆排队、堵塞、信号灯等交通状况，及时调整信号灯的配时或通过其他手段来疏导交通，改变交通流的分布，以达到缓解交通堵塞的目的。
