The invention relates to a transmission assembly (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising: an electrical machine (14), which is arranged in a first housing part (12); a second housing part (16), which is designed to accommodate a component (18) of an internal combustion engine; a transmission (20), by means of which the electrical machine (14) and the internal combustion engine can be connected to an output shaft of the transmission (20), the two housing parts (12, 16) being interconnected and forming a common interior (30), characterized in that the transmission assembly (10) has an intermediate wall (34), which separates a partial space (36), in which the electrical machine (14) is arranged in the interior (30), from the rest of the interior (30), the transmission (20) having at least one planetary gear set, at least one element of the planetary gear set being mounted on the intermediate wall (34).
