The invention relates to a transmission assembly (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising: an electrical machine (14) disposed in a first housing part (12); a second housing part (16), which is designed to receive a component (18) of an internal combustion engine; a gearing mechanism (20), by means of which the electrical machine (14) and the internal combustion engine can be connected to an output shaft of the gearing mechanism (20); and an intermediate shaft (22), which is connected to the output shaft for torque transmission and is designed to transmit a torque to a differential (24) of the motor vehicle, the two housing parts (12, 16) being connected together and forming a common interior (30), characterised in that the transmission assembly (10) has an intermediate wall (34), which delimits a partial space (36), in which the electrical machine (14) is disposed in the interior (30), from the remaining interior (30), wherein the intermediate shaft (22) is supported on the intermediate wall (34) on the side of the electrical machine.
