The invention relates to the field of vehicles, and discloses a machining method of an axle housing and the axle housing. The machining method of the axle housing comprises the following steps that an axle tube is inserted into a flange, and the axle tube and the flange are connected to form axle tube flange assemblies; the axle tube flange assemblies are machined, so that the design requirement is met; and the two machined axle tube flange assemblies are welded to the two ends of an axle housing body correspondingly, and an axle housing assembly is formed. The axle housing comprises the axle housing body and the two axle tube flange assemblies, the two axle tube flange assemblies are arranged at the two ends of the axle housing body respectively, each axle tube flange assembly comprises the flange used for being connected with the axle housing body and the axle tube arranged on the flange in a penetrating mode, and the axle tubes are connected with the flanges. The axle tubes and the flanges are assembled together before machining, the requirement for high coaxiality between the axle tubes and the flanges is met, then the use performance of the axle housing is improved, the axle tubes and the flanges are connected after being assembled to form the axle tube flange assemblies, the overall strength of the axle tube flange assemblies is improved, and then the strength and the bearing capacity of the axle housing are improved.

本发明涉及车辆领域，公开了一种桥壳的加工方法及桥壳。该桥壳的加工方法包括以下步骤：将轴管插入到法兰的内部，并将轴管与法兰连接形成轴管法兰总成；对轴管法兰总成进行加工，使其满足设计需求；将加工好的两个轴管法兰总成分别与桥壳体的两端进行焊接，形成桥壳总成。该桥壳包括桥壳体和两个轴管法兰总成，两个轴管法兰总成分别设置在桥壳体的两端，轴管法兰总成包括用于与桥壳体连接的法兰以及穿设于法兰的轴管，轴管与法兰连接。本发明的轴管与法兰在加工前装配在一起，保证轴管和法兰之间高同轴度的要求，进而提高桥壳的使用性能，轴管与法兰装配后连接，形成轴管法兰总成，提高轴管法兰总成的整体强度，进而提高桥壳的强度及承载能力。
