The invention discloses a dangerous vehicle alarm method based on video intelligent analysis. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring video data of dangerous vehicles at a traffic gate and traffic gate data; performing intelligent identification processing on the video data, and extracting feature information of dangerous vehicles in the video data; obtaining vehicle operation data; and matching the extracted feature information with the vehicle operation data, and when the extracted feature information is not matched with the vehicle operation data,sending out an alarm signal. According to the invention, the characteristic data of the dangerous vehicle and the vehicle operation data are compared and judged, so that the corresponding alarm signal is sent out, and the alarm information is stored, and therefore, the problem of difficulty in post-investigation, case filing and punishment of an industry competent department and a traffic law enforcement officer can be solved. Moreover, according to the invention, for the existing traffic checkpoints on the road network of the butt joint road, the traffic checkpoint video data is obtained for dangerous vehicle analysis and alarm, existing basic settings are fully utilized, no extra hardware system needs to be installed, the implementation cost is saved, and the implementation efficiency is improved.
