The embodiment of the invention provides a detection device and a vehicle assembling system with the same. The detection device is used for detecting whether the height of a tightening rod on a vehicle assembling tray downwards extending out of the vehicle assembling tray is lower than a specified height or not, and comprises a mounting bracket, an alarm switch which is arranged on the mounting bracket, and a detection plate which is rotatably arranged on the mounting bracket. The height of the upper surface of the detection plate corresponds to a specified height, so that when the height of the tightening rod is lower than the specified height, the tightening rod is in contact with the detection plate at the initial position, and pushes the detection plate to rotate to a triggering position for triggering the alarm switch, and the alarm switch sends out an alarm signal. The detection device is higher in reliability, and false detection can be reduced or avoided.
