The invention discloses a steering gear and a speed reducer. The steering gear comprises a shell, a gear, a worm matched with the gear, a lining and a sliding block, wherein the gear and the worm arecontained in the shell; the lining and the sliding block are installed in the shell, the lining is installed outside the worm in a sleeving mode, and an avoiding opening is formed in the position, corresponding to the meshing position of the gear and the worm, of the side wall of the lining; and the sliding block is installed in the lining, a sliding groove is formed in the inner wall of the lining, and the sliding block is in sliding contact fit with the sliding groove to compensate for a gap between the gear and the worm. According to the steering gear, the gap generated by abrasion betweenthe gear and the worm is effectively compensated by adopting a method of adjusting the sliding block, so that the worm can be always pressed on the gear, and abnormal sound generated by steering of the steering gear is reduced.

本发明公开了一种转向器及减速机，所述转向器包括外壳以及收容于所述外壳内的：蜗轮以及与所述蜗轮配合的蜗杆；衬套和滑块，安装在所述外壳内，且所述衬套套设于所述蜗杆外，所述衬套的侧壁上对应所述蜗轮与所述蜗杆啮合处的位置开设有避让口；所述滑块设置在所述衬套内，且所述衬套内壁开设有滑槽，所述滑块与所述滑槽滑动接触配合，以补偿所述蜗轮与所述蜗杆之间间隙。本发明的转向器，采用调整滑块的方法，有效补偿蜗轮和蜗杆之间磨损产生的间隙，使得蜗杆能够始终压在蜗轮上，减小转向器换向产生的异响。
