The invention discloses a variable cross-section tower body conversion section structure of a tower crane. The variable cross-section tower body conversion section structure comprises a base, four groups of installation plates are installed on the upper part of the base, the installation plates are fixedly connected with the base through bolts, the installation plates are of rectangular structuresand arranged on the surface of the base, first square columns are arranged on the upper parts of the installation plates, the first square columns and the installation plates are welded and fixed, second square columns are arranged on the upper parts of the first square columns, and connectors are arranged on the connections between the first square columns and the second square columns. According to the variable cross-section tower body conversion section structure, the connectors are arranged on the connections between the first square columns and the second square columns, the connectors are of rectangular structures, the connections between the first square columns and the second square columns are wrapped with the connectors, the side surfaces of the connectors are fixed through fastening bolts, meanwhile clamping blocks are arranged on the connecting surface of two groups of connectors, limiting cushion plates are installed on the surfaces of the clamping blocks, clamping grooves in the limiting cushion plates are embedded with the clamping blocks, and the installation of the connectors is facilitated.
