The invention discloses a tool for hoisting a sand core. The tool comprises a guide supporting assembly and a hinged connecting rod assembly. The guide supporting assembly comprises a lifting block which is located on the upper portion and a matching block which is located on the lower portion and used for corresponding to the middle of the to-be-hoisted sand core. A lifting ring is arranged on the upper portion of the lifting block. The matching block is of a U-shaped structure and comprises two long edges located on the front side and the rear side and a short edge connected to the lower portions of the two long edges. Receding grooves used for receding the hinged connecting rod assembly are formed in the left side and the right side of the matching block. Kidney-shaped holes are formedin the lower portions of the two long edges. The lifting block and the matching block are connected through a connecting piece. The hinged connecting rod assembly comprises at least two pairs of connecting rods which are hinged in sequence. The hinged point of the pair of the connecting rods located at the head end is located at the position of the connecting piece, and the middles of the pair ofthe connecting rods located at the tail end are hinged to the kidney-shaped holes in the lower portions of the two long edges. Clamping jaws are arranged at the ends of the pair of the connecting rodslocated at the tail end. By means of the tool for hoisting the sand core, the safety problem that taking of existing hot-made sand cores is scalding and difficult is solved, and the labor intensity in the carrying process of the sand core can be greatly relieved; and the structure is simple, and convenience and practicability are realized.
