The invention provides a sensing and processing device for a floor with no waiting passenger for a vertical elevator. The sensing and processing device is characterized by comprising a 6V direct-current power supply, an infrared signal detecting circuit, an electrical level phase inverting circuit, a monostable time delay and a high electrical level output circuit and a working state indicator circuit, wherein in the infrared signal detecting circuit, a model adopted by a heat-release electrical infrared detecting module IC1 is BH9402. According to the engineering practice, a high-sensitivity heat-release electrical infrared detecting module is mounted on a position opposite to a passageway of the vertical elevator; when the heat-release electrical infrared detecting module detects a passenger radiation infrared signal, an electronic circuit processes the infrared signal, so that normal operation of the vertical elevator with passengers, and shutdown or cross-floor skip operation of the elevator when no passengers wait can be realized until the last passenger leaves the vertical elevator, thereby realizing improving using efficiency of the elevator, reducing power consumption, reducing mechanical wear of the elevator to prolong the service life of the vertical elevator.
