The invention discloses an integrated sector operation performance detection method based on cluster analysis and a system. The method comprises steps that, step 1, historical sector operation performance index data including a sector passing detection index, a sector complexity detection index, a sector security detection index, a sector economy detection index and a controller work load detection index is inputted; step 2, the historical sector operation performance index data is processed based on a cluster analysis model, and sector operation performance archives are established; step 3, present sector operation performance index data is inputted, and calculation according to the sector operation performance archives is carried out to acquire the largest similarity and the smallest similarity; and step 4, whether sector operation performance is normal is determined according to the smallest similarity. Through the method, the multi-dimensional indexes influencing the sector operation performance are comprehensively considered, the sector operation performance can be effectively detected, detection reliability is guaranteed, actual demands of air traffic control units for real-time sector operation performance detection and alarm can be satisfied, and through the method, data supporting effects are realized for improving control operation management levels and optimizing control spatial domain structures.
