The invention discloses a wide-body double hull board side double bottom ship based on a large-opening PMA (Permanent Means of Access) in a ballast tank. A board side and a bottom comprise a double-shell shell; horizontal girders of symmetric structures are arranged between an inner shell (1) and an outer shell (2) of the board side. The invention aims at the improvement of the horizontal girders when the distance C of the inner shell and the outer shell is greater than 5 m of the board side. PMA openings are spaced from one another in each horizontal girder; the area of the MPA openings is 30 percent greater than the horizontal sectional area of a three-dimensional structure defined by the inner shell, the outer shell, a front rib plate (10) and a rear rib plate (9). By designing the PMA structure integrated on the horizontal girder structure, the requirement on related specification of the PMA is met; the yield strength and the buckling strength of the structure are guaranteed through effective analytical calculation. The welding workload and the lightship weight are effectively reduced while the yield strength and the buckling strength are met, and the steel utilization rate is improved. Thus, the ship has the advantages of low cost and high strength.
