The invention discloses an automobile speed control system. The automobile speed control system comprises a plurality of wireless emitters arranged on the two sides of a zebra crossing, a wireless receiver, a controller and a speed reduction device. The wireless receiver, the controller and the speed reduction device are arranged on an automobile. The wireless emitters send speed reduction information to the periphery, and the wireless receiver receives nearby speed reduction information. When being received, the speed reduction information is sent to the controller instantly, and the controller controls the speed reduction device to force the automobile to slow down. The control system can perceive zebra crossings on the road in advance, automatically control the automobile to slow down, and ensure safety of driving and pedestrians.
