Description of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) system developed for New Haven, Conn, parking garage; each vehicle at entry receives prepunched parking ticket; upon departure, parker surrenders his parking ticket to cashier at exit gate; system is adapted to use of monthly or credit cards; rising labor costs and operational economics can easily justify expenditure of $65/stall in system with 20,000 stalls in twelve different locations.
