100 85-ft cars built by St Louis Car Co for New York Central, for electric lines operating out of Grand Central Terminal, New York City; truck centers, 59 ft 6 in.; width 10 ft 4 in.; height rail to top of roof 13 ft 6 in.; scale weight 150,000 lb; each car accommodates 130 passengers; General Electric motive power and control equipment include four truck mounted motors with single reduction flexible drives.
