Rome Plan adopted by Comstat Corp and Intelsat Consortium provides details of actual and estimated requirements for years 1962, 1968 and 1975, respectively; basic data were derived from each country's estimates of its own requirements in terms of chargeable words or minutes in average day; general traffic requirements and description of Intelsat's first satellite, Early Bird, and Nascom Interim System, and Intelsat Global Basic Phase System; review of regional and specialized communication satellite applications.
