Fabrication and mechanical property of textile inserted composites were evaluated in this study. Composites consisting of the same material with different reinforcement and matrix shapes, such as fiber and matrix phases, can create high interfacial strength. Also in the textile, the knitted fabric which has high productivity was employed as reinforcements, and fabrication of knitted fabric inserted one unity polyethylene (PE) /UHMWPE composites was tried using injection molding. First, as a result of investigating the effect of cylinder temperature and mold temperature on the mechanical property of PE knitted fabric inserted composite, it was confirmed that the mechanical property has improved with optimal mold condition. Next, the effect of knitted direction (Wale, Course) and knitted loop (Face Stitch, Reverse Stitch) on tensile property of PE knitted fabric inserted composite, was investigated. It is possible to create new composites which have various mechanical properties by knitting technique.
