The aviation electromechanics of small civil aviation is actively being modernized through the use of digital mechatronic devices. Significantly increasing the performance and reliability of digital electric drives in mechatronic devices, reducing mass-size indicators while negligibly increasing energy consumption, can only be achieved through algorithmic modernization. The paper is devoted to the methodology of algorithmic modernization for digital electric drives in mechatronic devices for small civil aviation. The methodology allows to reduce transition time of the process in the angular velocity control channel of the electric drive rotor rotation, improves the quasi-invariance indicators with respect to external perturbation influence (reduces the amplitude of the rotor rotation velocity surge caused by external perturbation and its duration), minimizes additional energy costs caused by algorithmic correction of the electric drive dynamic characteristics, improve operational characteristics of the electric drive (increase the reliability and reduce mass-size characteristics of the electric drive by swapping the mechanical rotor velocity meter with an algorithmic one).
