A vehicle component and method of forming a vehicle component. The vehicle component includes an additively-manufactured (AM) structure with a first end and a second end opposing the first end. The AM structure includes a pathway from the first end to the second end and a non-AM structure that passes along the pathway from the first end to the second end. The non-AM structure and the AM structure are fixedly connected to one another at a connection.
L'invention concerne un composant de véhicule et un procédé de formation d'un composant de véhicule. Le composant de véhicule comprend une structure fabriquée de manière additive (AM) avec une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité opposée à la première extrémité. La structure AM comprend un trajet allant de la première extrémité à la seconde extrémité et une structure non fabriquée de manière additive (non AM) qui s'étend le long du trajet de la première extrémité à la seconde extrémité.
