The present invention relates to a marine pipeline installation vessel and a method for laying an offshore rigid pipeline in the sea, said vessel at least being adapted to carry out the rigid reel lay method. The vessel comprises at least one vertical storage reel for the storage of a spooled rigid pipeline. A left and right reel support structure are provided to support the weight of the at least one storage reel. The left and right support structures are embodied to form a pivoting structure allowing an angular adjustment of the horizontal reel axis about a vertical axis to alter the angular position of the at least one storage reel.

La présente invention concerne un navire d'installation de canalisation marine et un procédé de pose d'une canalisation rigide au large dans la mer, ledit navire étant au moins conçu pour réaliser le procédé de pose de bobine rigide. Le navire comprend au moins une bobine de stockage verticale pour le stockage d'une canalisation rigide enroulée. Des structures de support de bobine gauche et droite sont prévues pour supporter le poids de la ou des bobines de stockage. Les structures de support gauche et droite sont mises en oeuvre pour former une structure pivotante permettant un ajustement angulaire de l'axe de bobine horizontal autour d'un axe vertical pour modifier la position angulaire de la ou des bobines de stockage.
