The present invention proposes an autonomous driving apparatus and a precise map generating method. According to the present invention, precision map data to be stored is stored with different interpolation ratios of the precision map data according to an accident risk rate of a corresponding road and a distance from a driving vehicle. Accordingly, the precision map data to be stored can be optimized. The driving device includes: an accident risk rate classification unit generating a classification criterion for storing the different interpolation ratios of the precision map data according to the accident risk rate on the road and the distance from the driving vehicle; and an autonomous driving control unit generating the precise map data according to the accident risk rate classification unit.
본 발명은 저장하고자 하는 정밀지도 데이터를 해당 도로의 사고의 위험율 및 주행 중인 차량으로부터의 거리에 따라 정밀지도 데이터의 보간법을 적용하는 비율을 서로 다르게 하여 저장함으로써, 저장되는 정밀지도 데이터를 최적화할 수 있는 자율주행장치 및 정밀지도 생성방법을 제안한다. 상기 주율주행장치는 도로의 사고의 위험율 및 주행 중인 차량으로부터의 거리에 따라 정밀지도 데이터의 보간법을 적용하는 비율을 서로 다르게 하여 저장하도록 하는 분류기준을 생성하는 사고 위험율 분류부 및 사고 위험율 분류부에 따라 정밀지도 데이터를 생성하는 자율주행 제어부를 포함한다.
