The present invention relates to a device control apparatus capable of accurately determining operation instructions of a user for a device mounted on a vehicle. The device control apparatus (1, 2, 3) comprise: an imaging part (10) configured to capture an image of a passenger of a vehicle; a first recognition part (11, 31) configured to recognize the posture of the passenger based on the image captured by the imaging part (10); a second recognition part (12, 32) configured to recognize the state of a hand, including at least the shape of the hand of the passenger, based on the image captured by the imaging part (10); a discrimination processing part (13, 15, 33) configured to specify a device to be controlled and operations to be performed based on the posture of the passenger recognized by the first recognition part (11, 31) and the state of the hand recognized by the second recognition part (12, 32); and a control part (14, 17) configured to issue a control command corresponding to the specified device to be controlled and the operations to be performed.
