The present invention relates to an apparatus for calling attention, calling a driver of a vehicle attention regarding a moving obstacle when the vehicle enters a crossing of a cross road to which a drive road on which the vehicle runs accesses and the drive road, in a left pass area. The apparatus for calling attention includes an electric control unit (ECU) (2). The ECU (2) calls the driver attention regarding the moving obstacle when it is determined that a path of the moving obstacle intersects with a cross determination range; and sets the cross determination range of which a length is short in a forward-backward direction of the vehicle in comparison with a right moving direction of the vehicle when the moving direction of the vehicle is left.
좌측 통행 지역에 있어서, 자차량이 주행하는 주행 도로가 접속하는 교차 도로와 주행 도로의 교차점으로의 자차량의 진입시에, 이동 장해물에 관한 주의 환기를 자차량의 운전자에게 행하는 주의 환기 장치는, ECU(2)를 포함하고, ECU(2)는, 이동 장해물의 진로와 교차 판정 범위가 교차한다고 판정될 때, 상기 이동 장해물에 관한 주의 환기를 운전자에게 행하고, 자차량의 진행 방향이 좌회전일 때, 자차량의 진행 방향이 우회전일 때와 비교하여, 자차량의 전후 방향에 있어서의 길이가 짧은 교차 판정 범위를 설정하도록 구성된다.
