A vehicle control device and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle control device comprises: a sensing unit sensing current operation information of a motor; a determination unit determining whether or not the sensed current operation information of the motor is not the preset operation information of the reference motor but in a first state; and a control unit receiving the current operation information of the motor, transmitting a determination command to the determination unit to determine whether or not the current operation information of the motor is in the first state, and transmitting a prohibition order to the regenerative braking device to prevent a vehicle from performing regenerative braking when the current operation information of the motor is in the first state.
차량 제어 장치 및 그 제어 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 차량 제어 장치 및 그 제어 방법은 현재 모터의 동작 정보를 감지하는 감지부; 감지한 현재 모터의 동작 정보가 이미 설정된 기준 모터의 동작 정보가 아닌 제 1 상태인지를 판단하는 판단부; 및 현재 모터의 동작 정보를 공급받고, 제 1 상태인지를 판단하도록 판단부에 판단 명령을 전달하며, 제 1 상태이면 회생 제동 제어 진입을 금지하도록 회생 제동 장치에 금지 명령을 전달하는 제어부를 포함하는 차량 제어 장치 및 그 제어 방법을 포함한다.
