본 발명은 차량 위치 보정 시스템 및 이를 이용한 차량 위치 보정 방법에 대한 것으로서, 특히 위성 신뢰도가 높은 차량으로부터 해당 차량의 방향각을 수신하여 음영지역 또는 어반 캐니언에 위치한 자차의 방향각을 보정하는 차량 위치 보정 시스템 및 이를 이용한 차량 위치 보정 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 자차의 방향각 신뢰도를 확인하는 방향각 신뢰도 확인부와, 상기 자차의 전방 차량을 감지하는 차량 감지부, 상기 자차의 방향각 신뢰도가 기준보다 높으면 상기 자차의 방향각 정보를 브로드캐스팅하고, 상기 자차의 방향각 신뢰도가 기준보다 낮으면 상기 자차의 전방에서 감지된 차량이 브로드캐스팅한 방향각 정보를 수신하는 방향각 정보 송수신부, 및 상기 방향각 정보 송수신부가 수신한 방향각 정보를 기반으로 상기 자차의 방향각을 보정하는 방향각 보정부를 포함하는 차량 위치 보정 시스템과 이를 이용한 방법을 제공한다. 또한, 이에 따라, 본 발명은 개활지를 주행하는 전방 차량의 방향각으로 자차의 방향각을 보정하여 GPS신호가 수신되지 않는 지역에서도 자차 이동방향의 정확성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

The present invention relates to a vehicle position correction system and a vehicle position correction method using the same and, more specifically, to a vehicle position correction system and a vehicle position correction method using the same which receive the direction angle of a vehicle with high satellite reliability from the corresponding vehicle to correct the direction angle of a user vehicle positioned in a shade area or an urban canyon. The vehicle position correction system comprises: a direction angle reliability checking unit to check direction angle reliability of a user vehicle; a vehicle sensing unit to sense a vehicle in front of the user vehicle; a direction angle information transceiving unit to broadcast direction angle information of the user vehicle if the direction angle reliability of the user vehicle is higher than a reference and receive direction angle information broadcast by a vehicle sensed in front of the user vehicle if the direction angle reliability of the user vehicle is lower than the reference; and a direction angle correction unit to correct the direction angle of the user vehicle based on the direction angle information received by the direction angle transceiving unit. Also, the present invention can increase accuracy of the moving direction of the user vehicle even in an area where a GPS signal is not received by correcting the direction angle of the user vehicle by the direction angle of a front vehicle driven in an open area.
