PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the best use of the thrust generated by the thrust generation unit.SOLUTION: A ship 1 includes a hull 2 and a pair of electric propulsion units 4R, 4L. The electric propulsion units 4R, 4L comprise a thrust generation unit 40 including a duct and a propeller part. An electric motor is constituted by a stator part equipped in the duct and by a rotor part equipped in the propeller part. When the starting condition of an inverse propulsion mode is established, the value of the target steering angle is inverted 180 degrees and the direction of the thrust generation unit 40 is inverted 180 degrees. Moreover, the sign of the target torque value is inverted and the rotating direction of the electric motor is inverted. At the braking time, the thrust generating unit 40 of the electric propulsion units 4R, 4L is directed to the backward and the electric motor may rotate in the forward direction. At the time of the parallel translation, the thrust generating unit 40 of the electric propulsion units 4R, 4L is directed to the forward and backward, and the electric motor of both electric propulsion units 4R, 4L may be driven in the forward direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】推進力発生ユニットが発生する推進力を最大限に利用する。【解決手段】船舶１は、船体２と、一対の電動推進機４Ｒ，４Ｌとを含む。電動推進機４Ｒ，４Ｌは、ダクトおよびプロペラ部を含む推進力発生ユニット４０を備えている。ダクトに備えられるステータ部とプロペラ部に備えられるロータ部とが電動モータを構成している。反転推進モード開始条件が成立すると、目標転舵角値が１８０度反転されて推進力発生ユニット４０の向きが１８０度反転する。さらに、目標トルク値の符号が反転されて、電動モータの回転方向が反転される。制動時には、電動推進機４Ｒ，４Ｌの推進力発生ユニット４０が後方に向けられ、電動モータが正転方向に回転されてもよい。平行移動時には、電動推進機４Ｒ，４Ｌの推進力発生ユニット４０が前方および後方にそれぞれ向けられ、それら両方の電動推進機４Ｒ，４Ｌの電動モータが正転方向に駆動されてもよい。【選択図】図１
