PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting fixture capable of properly dealing with light leakage abnormality.SOLUTION: A light source 10 includes a laser diode 12. A lighting circuit supplies a stabilized lamp current Ito the laser diode 12 in a normal state. An abnormality detector 40 detects one part of output light 24 of the light source 10, and when the abnormality of the output light 24 is detected, asserts an abnormality detection signal S1. A protection device 50, in response to the assertion of the abnormality detection signal S1, acts on the output light 24 of the light source 10, and lowers the density of light 25 emitted from a vehicular lighting fixture 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】漏光異常に対し適切に対処可能な車両用灯具を提供する。【解決手段】光源１０は、レーザダイオード１２を含む。点灯回路は、正常状態において、レーザダイオード１２に安定化されたランプ電流ＩＬＡＭＰを供給する。異常検出器４０は、光源１０の出力光２４の一部を検出し、出力光２４の異常を検出すると、異常検出信号Ｓ１をアサートする。保護装置５０は、異常検出信号Ｓ１のアサートに応答して、光源１０の出力光２４に作用し、車両用灯具１から出射する光２５の密度を低下させる。【選択図】図３
