PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payload fairing capable of causing payload fairing pieces fallen onto the sea to sink better than ever.SOLUTION: A payload fairing comprises a plurality of fairing pieces 110 separably combined with each other, with a storage space for storing payloads inside. Each of the fairing pieces 110 is constituted of a honeycomb panel using a plurality of honeycomb cores 21 bonded as a base material. A plurality of hollow cells constituting the honeycomb core 21 communicate with each other through communication parts such as slots. The honeycomb core 21 has openings 25A, 25B for exhausting ingress water, communicating with the inside on inner surface of the fairing piece 110 or at bonded parts between the fairing pieces 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】海上に落下したフェアリング片をより一層良好に水没させることが可能なペイロードフェアリングを提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るペイロードフェアリングは、複数のフェアリング片１１０を分離可能に互いに結合して構成され、内部にペイロードを収納する収納空間を有する。フェアリング片１１０は、複数枚のハニカムコア２１を接合したものを基材とするハニカムパネルにより構成される。ハニカムコア２１を構成する複数の中空セル同士はスロット等の連通部により互いに連通している。さらにハニカムコア２１には、フェアリング片１１０の内面または当該フェアリング片１１０同士の結合部となる位置に、内部に連通する浸水排気用開口部２５Ａ，２５Ｂが設けられている。【選択図】図３
