PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire rigidity measuring device and a tire rigidity measuring method that can accurately measure the side part of a tire.SOLUTION: A tire rigidity measuring device is equipped with a tire supporting shaft 11 to whose tip a tire T is fitted, multiple center clamps 21 that bind in the tire radial direction the tread face of the tire T fitted to the tire supporting shaft 11, shoulder clamps 22 each arranged on one or the other side of the center clamps 21 in the widthwise direction of the tire to bind in the widthwise direction of the tire the shoulder part of the tire T fitted to the tire supporting shaft 11, and rigidity measuring means that causes the tire supporting shaft 11, the bound tread face and the shoulder part to be displaced in relative terms to deform the tire T and measures the rigidity of the tire T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
