PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel supporting device preventing the implementation of a travelling support using a recognition result of an incorrect partition line.SOLUTION: A travel supporting device includes: a detection unit for detecting partition line candidates that are candidates for partition lines for partitioning the left and right of a lane where an own vehicle 50 travels, on the basis of an image in a traveling direction of the own vehicle 50 whose image is taken by a camera device 10; a recognition unit for recognizing a pair of left and light partition line candidates as partition lines, from among the detected partition line candidates, on the basis of degrees having a partition line element including a height in a horizontal parallelism; a deterioration part deteriorating the degree of reliability of a predetermined time and a recognition result from the recognition unit, if the parallelism of the pair of left and right partition line candidates recognized as the partition lines becomes lower than a predetermined value; and a support controlling unit for performing travelling support of the own vehicle 50 using the recognition result of the partition line if the degree of reliability of the recognition result from the recognition unit is higher than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】誤った区画線の認識結果を用いた走行支援の実施を抑制する走行支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】カメラ装置１０により撮影された自車両５０の進行方向における画像に基づいて、自車両５０が走行する車線の左右を区画する区画線の候補である区画線候補を検出する検出部と、検出された区画線候補の中から、左右の平行度の高さを含む区画線の要素を備えている度合に基づいて、左右で一対の区画線候補を区画線として認識する認識部と、区画線として認識された左右一対の区画線候補の平行度が所定値よりも低くなった場合に、所定時間、認識部による認識結果の信頼度を低下させる低下部と、認識部による認識結果の信頼度が閾値よりも高い場合に、区画線の認識結果を用いて自車両５０の走行支援を実施する支援制御部と、を備える。【選択図】 図１
