PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved dynamic driveline system.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises: prime mover means 311; a first group of one or more wheels; a second group of two or more wheels; and a driveline configured to connect the prime mover means to the first and second groups of wheels. The driveline includes an auxiliary drive shaft and drive means between the auxiliary drive shaft and the second group of wheels. The drive means has: an input portion 327IN; a plurality of output portions 327OUT each operable to drive respective different wheels of the second group of wheels; first releasable torque transmitting means being operable to allow slippage of the input portion with respect to the output portions thereby to vary an amount of torque that is transmitted from the input portion to the output portions; and a differential 329 arranged to allow the respective output portions to rotate at different respective speeds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
