PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent intrusion of foreign matters such as snow and rain water into an air take-in port of an intake duct, to prevent contamination of a filter element of an air cleaner caused by the foreign matters, and to effectively utilize a dead space at a lower part of the air take-in port.SOLUTION: In an intake device of an engine for a vehicle being a device of the vehicle in which the engine is mounted on the inside of an engine room formed more on a rear part of a vehicle body from a dash panel, a reinforcing member extending in a vehicle width direction is attached to the dash panel and an auxiliary machine is arranged in front of the reinforcing member, an intake duct connected to the engine is extended to a front of a vehicle body and erected upward at a front of the dash panel, and an air take-in port is provided at an upstream end of the intake duct. The upstream end of the intake duct is arranged between a headlamp and the auxiliary machine, and when the upstream end of the intake duct is bent and the air take-in port is opened toward a lower part, the auxiliary machine is extended up to a lower part of the air take-in port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明は、吸気ダクトの空気取入口への雪や雨水などの異物の侵入を防止し、異物によるエアクリーナのフィルタエレメントの汚損を防止する一方、空気取入口下方のデッドスペースを有効利用することを目的としている。【解決手段】このため、ダッシュパネルよりも車体後方に形成したエンジンルーム内にエンジンを搭載する一方、ダッシュパネルに車幅方向に延びる補強メンバを取り付け、補強メンバの前方に補機を配設した車両の装置であって、エンジンに接続された吸気ダクトを車体前方へ延出させてダッシュパネルの前方において上方に立ち上げ、その上流端に空気取入口を備える車両用エンジンの吸気装置において、吸気ダクトの上流端をヘッドランプと補機との間に配置するとともに、吸気ダクトの上流端を湾曲させて空気取入口を下方に向かって開口させた際に、空気取入口の下方まで補機を延ばして配置した。【選択図】図１
