An adjuster extender (15) is provided that includes a tubular sleeve (74) longitudinally connected to an extender stud (72), the sleeve having an inner bore (76) for matingly receiving an adjustment shaft (38) of an adjuster (20) to provide radial support therebetween, and a plurality of engagement arms (80) that extend from the sleeve into the inner bore, the engagement arms including arm ends (82) for engaging an adjuster stud (40) on the adjustment shaft (38) to provide an axial interlock between the sleeve (74) and the adjustment shaft (38).
